Matlacha or Punta Rassa
We will leave from where the fishing is best for more time fishing and less time riding.
Matlacha
Charters begin at the Matlacha boat ramp, located on Pine Island just as you cross over the draw bridge. When coming from I-75 at Colonial Blvd (exit 136) head west on Colonial Blvd 7.8 miles (toll plaza $1.00) highway changes name to Veterans Parkway . Continue west on Veterans Pkwy 9.7 miles to Pine Island Rd. Turn left onto Pine Island Road go 2.2 miles. After crossing over the Matlacha draw bridge turn left at the brown boat ramp sign. Parking is free – park near the boat ramp.
